Decibel level
Newly designed ESCs apply FOC (Field Oriented Control) technology with sinusoidal drive. Thanks to this new technology and the 8331 noise reduction propellers, the decibel level of the Mavic Pro Platinum is reduced compared to the standard version.
In outdoor tests, it is obvious that the standard version is quite noisy and I could see that the Mavic Pro Platinum could fly relatively quietly because its acoustic power was 50 – 60% lower than that of the Mavic Professional Standard.
Operational efficiency
The overall operational efficiency of the Mavic Pro Platinum is also improved. I piloted them in the same scenario.
It turned out that the Mavic Pro Platinum could fly for up to 30 minutes (at a constant speed of 25 km/h without wind) thanks to its improved propulsion system, which is 2-3 minutes more than the flight time maximum of the Mavic Pro. Thanks to OcuSync HD image transmission technology, the Mavic Pro Platinum offers a maximum transmission distance of 5.5 km and 1080p real-time preview and playback, which makes your flight even more fun, especially with the DJI Googles.
Obstacle Avoidance

No. Unfortunately it’s not waterproof. So you have to be careful.
