Easy to Fly

That’s the best thing about the Ghost Drone – it is one of the easiest drones to operate. The team at EHang realized that while consumer drones such as DJI Phantom and Parrot were very popular, what was holding many people back from buying them was the impression that they were difficult to fly. EHang aimed to create a drone that was easy to fly, did not crash easily and was affordable as well. They did this by focusing on the most basic tasks that drones are supposed to do and making them easy to perform.

Ridiculously Simple Controls…

Another reason to like the Ghost Drone is that it has some of the simplest controls possible – it can be controlled from an app on your iPhone or Android phone. You don’t have to carry along a large and bulky radio control to fly the Ghost Drone. You can simply control it using your smartphone. It’s just a matter of tapping your finger on a map – the drone flies to that location by making use of the most advanced GPS technology. Take off and landing are preprogrammed on the drone as well, so it’s easy to perform these functions.

The Ghost Drone app also lets you know when the batteries are low. So, if the batteries are running out, the drone returns to the starting point by its own and lands automatically before switching off.

The Ghost Drone ReviewYou can control the camera and several other micro controls on the drone through your app. You can adjust its orientation and height using a simple and intuitive mechanism. Just swipe the vertical bar up or down to set the altitude and swipe the horizontal bar left or right to swivel the camera.

You can use the micro controls to adjust the position, height and angle of the drone for more accurate shots once you feel more confident about flying it.

Two Simple Modes

The Ghost Drone comes with two simple modes – the auto return and the auto follow. These modes are easy to operate and require no great input from the user. When you use the auto follow mode, the drone follows you where you go, whether you are biking, jogging or skiing and takes your shots from above. The auto return mode ensures that it lands safely later, from the same spot where it took off.

    This is so cool!

Also the exact reasons I haven’t bought a drone yet: I’m scared of crashing it and I don’t want to carry around a bulky controller. Ehang have it sorted!

I know you mentioned GoPro, is the Ghost also compatible with other cameras?
