Syma is a tech company that produced affordable quadcopters. One of the latest models in their quadcopter palette is the Syma X8C. So, in this Syma X8C Review I will try to explain why this quadcopter is one of the best quadcopters at that price range. Right at the start I want to say in short, that The SYMA X8C is a very good looking Quad. Its lifting power and its smooth, steady flight features make it a very suitable Aerial Platform. In summation, it features a headless flying mode, lively high rate, and tight flip to show that it is more than simply a stable hovering platform.
Specs and Features
When the SYMA X8C first arrived in its retail package, it was larger than a fiddle case. It was more like a small Yamaha keyboard. Every component was securely well packed in deep foam, thanks to SYMA’s packaging department.
Then you lay your eyes for the first time on the X8C and you thought, haven’t I seen this somewhere before. It definitely reminds you of a DJI Phantom. The rotors are really strong. They appear like the aces on the Phantom as well. Many people suggest like the Syma X8X looks like this famous quad, which we can slightly confirm as the truth.
Nevertheless, the X8C is gear drive, driven by big brushed motors. Prop guards were provided, which I am not a fan of. At 5.4g each, I think that they are just 20+g of weights that are strictly not necessary. There are four plastic covers that cover the mounting holes if you don’t want to install the guards.
There is a dedicated 2S charger that is provided in the kit, along with a 7.4V 2000mAh 25C Lipo, which weighs an “enormous” 104g. It took the stock charger over 3 hours to fully charge the battery. The 200 minutes charge time stated in the manual was no joke, that little too long. The output of the stock charger is rated at 750mA.
The Syma X8C features an average camera. It has a single 3.5mm stereo plug to connect up to the FC of the X8C. It takes both videos and still photos. Images and videos are stored on a supplied 4GB Micro SD memory card and you will also get a USB card reader.
The quadcopter features LED lights which look cool at night. The controller looks and feels great. It is highly responsive and easy to use.
Flying the X8C was great. It is perfect for steady flights, while it can be shaky for maneuvering, it is still a great quadcopter. It behaves well in the wind as well, and landing it is an easy job. It will provide you with a flying time of 7 minutes. This is very solid!
While doing this Syma X8C Review I have discovered that Syma X8C is a neat, tidy and lovely quadcopter that is affordable and easy to fly. Its features are average, but fair enough for the beginner and average users of quadcopters. Priced at around $100 it is surely one of the best quadcopter with a camera. It can be fun to use and you can make some interesting footages and recordings.
I wish you all the best, and remember that if you have any questions or comments you can post them in the comments section at the bottom of any blog post. It’s great to hear from you.
